Oqaasileriffik – the Greenland Language Secretariat launches the first version of Kukkuniiaat , an intelligent Greenlandic spell checker and hyphenation tool, which can be used in Microsoft Word and other programs in Office. With the launching of Kukkuniiaat, an important tool in working with the Greenlandic language, its continued propagation and development has been ensured. Simultaneously it will be possible to download updated lexicon lists and a document template which automatically will make Kalaallisut – Greenlandic the standard language when using Word.
